About Funny Sounds
What this is, why we made it, and how it works.
The idea
Funny Sounds is a toy tape recorder in your browser. Big chunky buttons, real needles that jump with every sound, and a short list of sounds picked because they make us laugh. It is free, it needs no app, and it works on any phone, tablet or computer.
We keep the list small and hand-picked instead of endless. Every sound is short, clean and kid-friendly, and every one gets its own page you can share.
How it works
Sounds load as you scroll, so the page starts fast. Once a sound is loaded it plays the instant your finger lands, with no delay. Press several buttons and they stack. Press one again and it starts over.
